The long-standing, patented, suspension lift kit from SPACCER is custom-made to fit the chassis number of each individual vehicle. The reason for this improvement in driving comfort is very simple. Just as the piston rod of every shock absorber has a tolerance directly ex works by the automobile manufacturer, e.g. for lowering, there is also an upward tolerance of the shock absorber for raising it. Original driving comfort is retained, with a selectable degree of elevation

Lifting springs from the accessories trade usually have a different characteristic than the original spring. This usually changes the driving comfort to the detriment of the original set-up. Likewise, the sheer number of different spring types, which are often available for one vehicle model alone, prevents the more complex development and production of accessory springs. For the Mercedes-Benz V-Class alone, for example, there are up to 30 different springs for the front axle and a further 30 different springs for the rear axle, which are coordinated, developed and installed by the manufacturer, depending on the structure, equipment and engine. The SPACCER system leaves the original springs untouched, as the lift kit is only placed on the original spring and thus receives the suspension tuning desired by the manufacturer.

An additional benefit is the adjustable level of elevation. Depending on how many SPACCER you place on the spring, you can get a height of 12mm, 24mm, 36mm, 48mm or up to 60mm. Each SPACCER is 12mm high and can be finely adjusted to a total of 3mm with an optionally available 15mm high rubber profile.

Elevating cars is the perfect solution


We all know that the potholes on the city streets slow traffic (traffic-calmed zones), but beyond the safety aspect (which is also controversial), these bumps in the asphalt also seem to cause some problems.

We'll discuss some of them:
The sudden potholes and uneven ground (even at low speeds) place a direct load on the vehicle's suspension system. Load means more wear and tear and more wear means more expenses for repairs. In addition, a “tired” and improper suspension system reduces the level of safety of the vehicle.

If you drive over the bumps / potholes / depressions in the carriageway at a somewhat higher speed, shock forces arise which also act on the body via the suspension system. And, as with any material, the impact resistance (impact forces) of the vehicle is limited without changing its shape or losing its strength.

Every time you hit a pothole or bumps, there are violent impacts that can put pressure on the car, including loosening screws, stress on the joints, elastic stretching, abrasion of the bearings and tire damage, which lead to a loss of structural strength.

The design of the standard springs or a lowering often reduce the ground clearance so much that the oil pan, fuel tank or axle suspension can be damaged. Likewise, the battery or hydrogen tank can be damaged in e-cars as well as hydrogen vehicles and hybrid cars. This super meltdown of a vehicle can end up being extremely embarrassing. In addition to massive environmental damage, total vehicle damage or a fire are not excluded.

Leaking oil from the oil pan or damaged oil lines (battery acid in battery or hybrid cars) is a real problem that is rarely discussed. The repair costs in the workshop are extremely high, in addition, the road pollution with oil (or acid) is extremely difficult to clean and also expensive. The critical point, however, is that other vehicles could run into the oil puddles (or acid puddles) and there is an acute risk of skidding, or worse, cause mass collisions, the damage of which could amount to millions, not to mention personal injury.

For the model of the Bavarian manufacturer with facelift, the company SPACCER developed new types of elevations, which are offered in four versions. The smallest of the versions offered can increase the car's ground clearance by 12 mm. If the owner of the car wants to increase the ground clearance by 24 millimeters, he has to choose the second smallest version. The second largest version already lifts the car by 36 millimeters. The largest version increases the ground clearance by 48 millimeters.
